GOURMET LOVERS BRUNCH CLUB 20.11.11. AUTUMN

Sunday November 20th a group of merry brunch clubbers arrived for a brunch with a seasonal twist. They were met with with likes of apples, quince, pecans, cranberries, porridge, fennel, sweet potato and spiced pumpkin. Lots of lovely warming Autumnal ingredients.
It was a friendly bunch and we really enjoyed the company, thanks all those who came.

Heres a peak at what we ate on the day, thanks to our lovely friend Ari who took these photos for us.

Cranberry Whipped Porridge w Thyme Infused Yoghurt

Rose Water Infused Poached Quince w Elderflower Cream & Caramelised Pecans

Pork, Cranberry & Chestnut Sausage Roll w Cranberry Sauce

Sweet Potato Fritter with Crispy Pancetta and Maple Roasted Apple

A Tzars Breakfast
Sparkling Poached Egg w Locally Smoked Salmon, Shaved Fennel, Roasted Spiced Beetroot Jewels & Rye Toast

Pumpkin Pie and Cream Panna Cotta w Ginger & Pecan Biscuit Base

Nick was particularly excited about his edible gold leaf and used it in the Tzars Breakfasts. Heres a close up so you can see the full effect. This can be purchased at Selfridges and online here for those who would like to eat gold!

Its brunch club again on December 4th with a special Christmas Brunch. Think Gingerbread smoothies and jolly festive merriment. Email gourmetloversblog@gmail.com for a spot on the waiting list as we are currently full, but always have drop outs last minute.

If you like the sound of a brunch at your place or other venue do get in touch, we love to pop up elsewhere and can bring you brunch based around your desired theme. Don't forget we also love baking delicious cakes and sweet treats. If you fancy a box like this for a gift or work treat email bex for details.

lots of love!

The gold leaf is very fancy! Your lucky Brunch Clubbers!
