I'll let the pictures speak for themselves but standout dishes for me were the pea and ham soup and the squid ink risotto. I also had a great catch up with Simon and Uyen and it was also wonderful meeting Gail from One Million Gold Stars who was helping out in the kitchen. We of course talked food, supper clubs and chocolate.

We ambled up to the salubrious Dolphin for a few jars in all its sticky floor, cheesy tune, plastic cup glory. For those of you who dont know the Dolphin its a Hackney institution. One of those rough and ready places which can be alot of fun in the wee hours. We hit it decidedly too early and it was a bit of a shock to the system but the vibe definitely picked up.
Our Frenchies had had a long day and were falling asleep in their beers so we called it a night. On my ride home I was feeling a bit Eugene Atget and stopped a few times to grab some shots.
