Food for friends is one of Brightons original vegetarian restaurants nestled in the historic Lanes of Brighton, perfect for lunch. The menu consisted of fresh, original, inventive food, with clearly marked vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. A contemporary, casual cafe, it wasn't like they were trying very hard to be gluten free or vegetarian, the food was just simply was.
Nicks Thai red pumpkin curry and his mums spiced carrot and parsnip rosti were 2 of the gluten free options, as well as my to die for molten chocolate pudding (pictured below).
Spiced parsnip soup
Butternut, parmesan and applewood risotto fritters with roasted lemon tahini aubergine, and marinated artichoke served with basil infused olive oil and shaved pecorino and rocket salad
Molten chocolate pudding with Baileys ice cream
Prices for lunch were pretty reasonable, £5 - £7 pounds for a starter or dessert, under £15 for a main.

Oooh...lovely food. I really like that molten chocolate pudding with the Bailey's ice cream. That must be a powerful combo!
